Does Apple will provide Smart Battery Case for iPhone 12 Pro?

I hope they come out with a 12 pro max smart battery case I just upgraded from my xs max I loved my case now I don’t have one for my 12. Why would they make a mag safe that don’t even have a case to protect the phone if you drop it? I hope they come out soon with this case these off name brands aren’t any good

Me myself I wear a clip like most business people and the smart battery case worked perfectly in my Beltron clip. It was the perfect set up. I hope apple looks at all these messages and see people need these cases and spend a lot of money with them every year.

What case is that do you have for your 6s May I ask? Is it the smart battery to? I was looking so forward to getting the new smart battery with my new phone and then bam found out they weren’t even making them and don’t know if they are is the scary thing. Why would they stop at the 12 and 12 pro max the 11 and 11 max smart battery case is awesome I would pay high dollar just to get one made for me

I just upgraded I’m thinking about going back down to the 11 pro max just to get the smart battery case since apple want tell no one anything kinda sucks every other phone has it but these I’m not to impressed anyways my xs max was just as good

I hope that’s not the answer some cheap batter that goes on the back of the phone. For one it does not protect the phone at all for two it will end up coming off and getting lost everyone will end up hating it why wouldn’t you just want the smart case and a clip for your side I can see this has made a lot of people mad you think this is why the iPhone 12 is 700 off trying to give them away???? I wish someone from apple would give some answers and quit working and a snap on battery!

I’m bout to be sending mine back I have thought about it this case situation since I have got this phone and it’s mind blowing that all the other iPhones have them but the 12s I mean they have been out for months now what is the deal no ones wants and snap on battery if I did I would go buy a power bank besides that it don’t look good either from the pics I have seen the smart battery case looked so nice and professional

We’re approaching the halfway point on the 12’s marketing lifespan and rumors of the 13’s features are growing by the day. I can ride this ol’ 8 to the next cycle if Apple doesn’t want my cash just yet. Either/or.

But I’m not buying a 12 anything with no smart battery case.

Sadly, sometimes Apple gets an idea about something and there’s no talking them off the ledge.

I’m guessing the snap-on power puck isn’t testing so well, but they’re committed to it, halfway through the product cycle.

Has Apple ever made an SBC for their phones with squared-off edges. I don’t know that they have. The edges have all been round since the 6.

Minor detail, given what Apple is capable of. But like I said, they may have dug their heals in on an ill-advised snap-on puck.

I can stretch my 8 through the 12s and hope for better on the 13s.

I just wish they would make the smart battery case for people that want them they can still make the mag safe battery pack as well.The third party cases are not near as good after having an apple smart case, it’s the best case I ever had.

I love Apple but I’m with you. I sold mine on the Nextdoor app and bought the 11 Pro Max. I feel a little forgotten and truthfully a little betrayed. They’ve got great security and are reigning in the tracking YouTube, Facebook and the other social media companies do which I’m a BIG fan of, but they are simply too big to care about these forums.

That’s what they told me to ,actually they told me they would order me the case and send it to the store for me to pick up. I just want the case is all I want. If they don’t come out with one I will be getting rid of this phone

They never made one for the 8. The 8 and the X were contemporaries and the first to have wireless charging IIRC.

Apple produced an SBC for the X, but left the 8 out in the cold. It didn’t occur to me that the 8 wouldn’t have an available SBC when I got it, so ... lesson learned. I will buy the SBC for my next phone before I buy the phone, itself.
