Alright guys, these forums have always been so helpful for me but today I created an account because I am extremely creeped out by my device. When charging the phone has a static sound coming from it as well as beeping. VERY VERY faint but my hearing sensitive and I could’ve sworn I accidentally left music playing. Anyone else having this issue?? Already erased and set up as new! Still happening. Old device does not do this. Very creeped out.
The same thing is happening with my brand new iPhone 12 Pro, I just opened the box and when I plugged the charger I started hearing cracking/arcing noises. I contacted Apple Support and they are going to replace it. They said it isn’t supposed to do these strange noises.
I experienced the same issue today. The static notice happened while I was on the phone paired with the screen pixelating then the phone shutting off and restarting on it’s own.
The first time this happened, I heard the static noise but no pixelation on the screen followed with the phone shutting off and restarting on its own as well.
Speakers have cracklings sound, I played the most melodious song and it didn’t sound smooth on my brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max that I got literally a day ago.
Looking at all the other posts on community, it doesn’t seem a unique problem for me.
Apple should look into this and possible recall if this is an hardware issue.

Have not had any response. In Reading through the boards, someone says it sounds like the magnets spinning on the back of their phone. Maybe that’s it. I’m not sure if I love the iPhone 12 Pro Max, or hate it.
I have this static issue too. Though it happens when I am on cellular call. Apple reps have diverse opinions. Some claims it is software, some hardware.
