I've recently came across a YouTube error when trying to view videos through safari. The error code is different every time I attempt to view a video, but the result is always the same. I've looked to disable extensions as well as ad blockers and still no dice.

I experienced the same problem as well, here's what I did to fix it:
Enable the 'Develop' tab by going into the Safari tab > Preferences > Advanced tab > Tick 'Show Develop menu in menu bar'
Then press the 'Develop' tab > Experimental Features > Disable VP9 Decoder
