iPhone 12 Pro messaging videos with blue / turquoise / cyan video

I updated my phone and the problem is fixed

My phone was out of the box and I updated to 14.3

Updated my phone today and that fixed the problem!

I’ve attempted this suggested fix and am continuing to have the same issue. I definitely agree that the problem, for me, occurs with videos longer than 1min & 20sec.. issue occurs when both recorded within the message app and in the camera app.. Help!!

Go to Settings. Search Camera.

Go to FORMATS, change to Most Compatible instead of High Efficiency.

That should fix the problem.

When I went to settings it says 14.3

but I also just bought it and took it out of the box 🤷🏽‍♀️

Phone updated. Didn't fix problem. Not sure why mine is different than those of you saying it worked for you. Ugh.

Nothing has worked for me either. This is getting me mad. For the $$ I spent on the 12 pro max phone I should be able to send videos without a problem!

Thank you!! This worked for my wife having the same problem.

My wife’s iPhone 12 Pro does the same thing. She sends me a video and it comes through via iMessage and is just a blue/turquoise screen. The audio is there but no video. That said, I don’t have the same issue on my IPhone 12 Pro, not sure if this issue is isolated to a specific model. Hers is the silver 128gb, mine is the space grey 128gb.
