Bluetooth affects volume
Is any one experiencing a reduced volume setting on the iPhone when you connect to a bluetooth vehicle. My phone volume gets set at half or below half when I connect to a GMC vehicle or a Harley motorcycle. Even though you can turn up the volume on the vehicle, the phone volume does not go up. You can see this effect when you first connect and pull down the control center to see the volume setting. I have tried changing the "change by buttons" setting to off and to on, but seems to have no effect on this happening. I also lose the haptics when connected to these vehicles, as in no keyboard clicks or lock sounds. It is frustrating to receive a phone call and be unable to hear the caller because the phone volume is set so low. If you are driving it is not possible to turn the volume up on the phone at that point. What is perhaps even worse is that once unconnected to the vehicle, the volume remains low including the ringer volume, so I am missing calls. Anyone know of a solution that I can try?
