iPhone 12 pro won’t wirelessly charge

Picked up new phone. It will not charge on my Qi wireless charger. My family members’ iPhone X and 11 charge fine. Mine initially shows the green battery, then it disconnects from charging and the charger flashes a blue LED, signifying it is no longer connected. This despite using different charger blocks.

Have any of you tried a Forced Restart?

  1. Press and quickly release volume up button
  2. Then press and quickly release volume down button
  3. Then press and KEEP HOLDING side power button (keep holding past the swipe to shut down) until you see the Apple Logo, then let go.

Once your phone restarts and you sign back in, see if you can charge your phone on your Qi charger.

Yes after 2 Apple chargers and car charger and 3 other brands the phone and phone replacement it’s still only seems to work with any one particular brand for a few day before it starts acting up. I agree it’s the phone, Not the charger.

this may be the phone that sends me back to androids

i do hope apple steps up and fixes the problem before that happens

Finally, a new development!!!

After loosing hope when I posted here my complaint, I gave up and for a few weeks I discarded my wireless car “MagicMount” charger which hooks to the car vent!

Last week I checked on it again and noticed that after I stripped out its protective plastic protection cover, it started to charge now without any interruption whatsoever!!

My husband and I both just got new iPhone 12 max pro. Had 11 model no issues. I’ve tried all these suggestions. Not working. All chargers never had issue prior. Phone won’t even charge in my brand new car that has a wireless pad. Problem is my phone is my work. I sell real estate. If this has been an issue looks like 8 months ago, many users, why has it not been resolved? Verizon no help either. Tried selling us new chargers.

Recently, I bought the Apple brand Schosches wireless charging station directly from Apple and the Schosches brand itself directly from the company through Amazon. None of these two chargers are charging my iPhone 11 Pro which I also purchased this year. . Is there a fault in these two devices. Who is to blame, Apple or the Scosches company. I am frustrated having spent almost $300 on these wireless. Last night for example, I tried charging my phone all night only to find out this morning that my phone has not charged at all. Please help.

we have 2 iPhone 12

srnt one back to Apple toe similar issue like you. Tried several charger and the one they worked the best so far had been ANKER charger

the brand new car (2021 volvo) is charger Ford not work either. The only way I found yo charge the phone every time is the plug in lighting port.

the ANKER works 90 % of the time without problem the other 10% I have yo move phone around on the charger till it finally connects d sac no charges

the problem appears to be with the iPhone

maybe the size and placement of the charger inside the phone and the magnets inside do not lock the charger to the phone in the proper place to charge correctly.

if Apple is going with wireless charging I hope the don’t get rid of the cable charging before they fix the problem.

otherwise after 12 years as an Apple iPhone user I will be leaving apple for another brand

iPhone 12 pro won’t wirelessly charge
