iPhone 12 Pro speaker audio issues

I have had some unusual audio issues. Saturday morning 10/24/20, not even 24 hours of owning the phone, the speakers had reverb, static, pops and random buzzing. I did a screen recording and posted on YouTube. However the sound was mot syncing with the video. Perhaps a software issue but the sound does not seem as good as it was on my 11 Pro. I upgraded to give my mom my 11 Pro so if I return I’m phoneless during any repair or send off diagnostic. Very disappointed to say the least.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Update...I was not able to reproduce my sound issues. I spoke with Apple Support yesterday and we both were not able to reproduce the issue to my particular unit. However, after the iOS 14 update just released, I have had better sound quality. I realize that many are having either software, hardware issues or some combination thereof. I would certainly suggest that if you cannot wait for an update or other repair, then a return might be an option for some. As for me, I will not send my unit back. I believe mine was a software issue.

I wish you all well on getting your issues resolved to your satisfaction. Please reach out to Apple before returning to see what options you may have to get your unit repaired.

I feel your pain. I’m now on my 3rd unit. Despite the tint and flickering issues being also being priority fixes for me the speaker issue has become the most annoying daily. FaceTime calls at times can be brutal along with other native iOS sound sources. From third party sources for music I notice it most with frequencies such as guitar and vocals. Oddly enough the bass response such as in hip hop usually fairs good which most phones tend to struggle with.

Only a speaker phone issue here for me with my Iphone pro 6.7 ! its INCREDIBLY annoying because most of all my phone calls are on speaker phone, but various people will tell me im going in-and-out so then when i take it off speaker they can hear me i guess. i had read that it might have something to do with the cases, so tested that theory out & seems no one said they couldn't hear me when i didn't have a case on....but i wouldn’t /will never use my phone without a case...i drop my phone literally every minute. I used the same type of cases i would use on my previous iphone xs max & never had this problem....smh ive tried resetting things, taking out sim card etc so disappointing because other than that i really like this phone
