Sync iPhone and MacBook message app.

When I delete messages from my iPhone, they do not automatically get deleted from my MacBook. How do I fix this issue. (since the mail app is able to fully sync on each device I suppose this is also possible for the message app).

Try using Messages in iCloud for that type of syncing. See the Apple Support article(s) below.
