Problem Transfering Images!

Hello Everyone!

I've been trying to transfer my Mothers photos from her old devices (iPad 1, iPad Pro, iPhone 6 & 8) on my Windows PC, however, any way I try to do it, (Migrating to Photos, Copying it from the device,) It always throws me some kind of error, and Its been 2 days, and its very frustrating. Also, on an unrelated note, her iPad Pro battery is having problems, so every 5 minutes, it shuts off, so i'm also worried about if its possible to get the photos off of that. Any help would be greatly apreciated!

Drill down into the DCIM folders in Windows Explorer and copy one folder at a time. If you get an error you'll have to try again, copying all files from that folder that will copy in batches, and noting any that won't. You may need to abandon any problem items, although if you can identify them in the camera roll and they open there you could try sharing via email etc.

Hello tt2!

Ive already tried this in some capacity beforehand, it seems like I have to copy around 5 photos at a time, and then wait for it to fail, and then start off with the image that failed. Besides that, is there anything else you recommend I suggest?
