Screen time incorrectly showing 24 hours of usage each day.

Anyone get any answers on this? I'm having a similar issue with an App I've never heard of before. Seems a lot like a virus/hack....? Please assist!

aame Here but it’s my settings app. Screen time says I’m on my settings app 24/7. My daily average is at 24 hours and all of that is on the settings app.

I'm under the exact same circumstances. I have had twitter installed before but its been uninstalled for quite some time now, despite suggesting I've been on twitter for four straight days. Originally I suspected it was something I clicked through on reddit, but I'm not sure why it would say I have the app if it was only a webpage?

I noticed my battery suddenly dropping quickly even when my phone was in airplane mode, working off grid. In trying to understand why, I saw that my phone claims the screen is on basically for insane amounts of time (when I have it set to auto lock after 30 seconds) and really barely use my phone. I’ll wake up in the morning and my phone’s analytics show the screen has been on for 5.5 hours- when it hasn’t. Apple support hasn’t been helpful at all- they just want me to reset my phone to factory settings- but clearly, many of us have a big on our phone that’s causing this!

I have the same problem where my iPad told me that I used YouTube for almost 6 hours as soon as I came back from school. Now my mum is convinced that I actually spent 6 hours. I’m so confused as I don’t use the YouTube app and when I use websites then all screen time on safari also adds to the safari screen time but my safari time was only 50 minutes... I only lost 8% battery and I know my iPad wasn’t on.

When I woke up, it said that my screen time was 4 hours ( all of which was on safari.) It said I had been on it from 12am-4am ( I wen to bed at 12 and woke up at 9.) The previous night it added 5 hours to my screen time on safari when I had not been on the app all day.

Having this same issue on my 16" MacBook with Messages. It started out with screen time accurately reading other apps and saying that Messages is open for 24hrs, but now it's not even reading the other apps.

I also have this issue, except it's not only my youtube but a link (tiktok.com, which is bizarre since I do not have that app downloaded on any of my devices), which I had running for 24h yesterday, and 19h hours today. I have a feeling this is a virus of some sort, however, if not, please fix this issue it is annoying since I cannot simply check my screen time anymore.

This happened to me but with a safari web page that dosnt even apear on the safari history(i mention this because i thought “oh, maybe i clicked on it by accident and is the cookies or smthg like that) i even looked up what that web page was for but nothing that can tell me the purpose of it came up.

Has anybody found a solution?

Last night Snapchat ran for nine hours. It only has an hour of run time and it was during my downtime hours - so all apps should’ve been shut off and not run anyways!!!! Apple, what is going on here? Please stop ignoring all of us.

Mine did too. I did not use my laptop for a whole day then this showed up on my screen time. And on top of that, it only showed "other" with no specific apps that ran 24 hrs. I feel like someone is using my laptop behind the screen. Has anyone come up w a solution yet?

I have the same issue today. My screen time is showing I used “storify.com” overnight but I never accessed this website (it’s a social network which is shutdown anyway!). This is the first time this happens for me. Any idea how to resolve this?

I have the exact same problem but with PayPal. I even uninstalled the app, but nothing changed and it's been a week. I feel like my battery is drained from nothing and I was wondering if that may be the reason

This is still a problem. I have 14.6 doesn't matter. I don't have the absolutely insane issues I had at the beginning of the year but still have large chunks of time unallocated to any category or application. My wife's phone has the same issue. @APPLE WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO!?
