I recently went to install the 10.15.7 update, however it keeps saying I need to restart my macbook air to fully install it- which I've done 3-4 times already. I've even deleted numerous files to see if lack of storage was the issue- and it still is telling me to restart my macbook to fully install. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I did some digging around and this post helped- it might be that you need to directly download the update from Apple and install it manually. I downloaded it (took 3-4 hours) and the problem seems resolved so far.

I have the same problem. Tried shutting it down and restarting, tried everything I can think of, but it won't install. What should I be doing?
