My wife and I both have the 12 pro max, and both get garbage photos most of the time. Neither of us are professionals but we have both done freelance work and have used phone cameras and DSLRs for years so I don’t think it’s user error like Apple likes to claim. I really hope they fix this, since the camera is the reason we got these phones.

I have the same camera problem with my new 12 pro. I had an iPhone I 11, and I loved taking pictures, and mostly they look fantastic. I decided to upgrade to 12 pro only for the camera, as I believed this would be one of the significant updates. Unfortunately, now I'm at the point to downgrade bake to iPhone 11 pro. I have also notice that when uploading photos to a story on Facebook, it make the image very blurry and dim the colors:

I’ve had this issue as well once I bought the phone. Unfortunately I cannot say that any other of my phones was any better. I came from 8+ and it was way worse. Maybe I am just not lucky with cameras, but anyhow. I started searching for tips on stats that are best to be used with 12pro and plaid around with the video setting for HD, 4K videos first and once I found the right setting for me and went back to pictures, they too became much clearer! The functions are at the top right corner that I changed so maybe it could help for some too. I’m still convinced that phone is a phone so if I really want to take professional pics I should get a banging photo camera 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t think phones will or should ever replace that. However it would be nice that the promises of at least clear pictures are carried out by the company too.. good luck guys

I feel like everything after the iPhone 12 has been almost borderline cramp and I’ve been with Apple since it’s inception on the iPhones :-( everything is starting to go downhill I’m thinking about going backwards now and going back to an iPhone 11 Pro where I know for sure my pictures were just perfect or at least expected to be and they are were if that makes sense anyway just my two cents as well I own an iPhone 12 mini so it is my wife we both have issues and I think it’s more software than it is anything because every update seems to botch up some thing and fix another something. Let me know what anybody thinks thanks.

Whatever I try, as soosn as I enlarge a photo I can see the blurr.

Unfortunately I had been influenced by the powerful Apple advertising

and the Youtube influencers most likely encouraged by Apple. I will try

to swap this smartphone for technical reasons, but I'm afraid to be told

that the device is normal. I can see a lot of iPhone 12 Pro Max on

resale websites witch is kind of strange for a best of the best iPhone.

And I'm stuck for two years with a contract from my cell provider. Take

your time for the next cell phone purchase !
