Getting Avaliable Backup Dates from iCloud

I have an app that was updated. Unfortunately it was not tested very well and the latest version does not work (iPhone 5 IOS 10). The provider "claims" they do not have an archive of older versions so they told me to jump in a lake. Anyway, I may have the older version of the app on an iCloud backup. It seems like I have to reset my iPhone just to find out what backups are available and if the date I want is not there I will have done it for nothing. How can I find what backup dates are available? TIA.

iPhone 5, iOS 10

It doesn’t matter what the iCloud backup dates are. Apps are not included in the backup, so you can’t restore the old version of the app anyway.

However, the only way to see both iCloud backups for each iOS device is to erase it and wait for the restore from backup option to appear when you set the device up again.
