I accidentally removed app from Home Screen. How do I get it back?

Negative. One of the options now when you long press an app icon is to remove it from the Home Screen. I just deleted seflane from the Home Screen on accident and no clue where it went. Same as OP, when I go to App Store the only option is to open it. Not sure what the purpose of this new feature is.

This is great, thanks! I misunderstood "swipe left" and looked to the left screen of home screen and couldn't find App Library lol. Swipe left means you go to the right side of the screen, be careful!!

You can always see your deleted apps in the app store.

Go to : appstore then click on today at the bottom left and then click on name icon and then select purchased and from my purchases you will going to see all the apps you deleted from your iphone. And you can install it back from there.

Same happened to me. The app is LinkedIn. When I look it up in the App Store it only allows me to open it. I don’t get the option to re-download it.

Once you restore it you can also delete if you wanted to.

What you can also do is go to your App Library And find the app you want to delete

Same happened to me with FB app.

• If I go to the App Store I don't have the option to download it.
• From the App Library the only option I have is to open the app. If I tap/hold the only option is to share it, I can't drag it or do anything else.

This has become a huge problem for me. I’m assuming it’s happening randomly when I’m holding the phone in my hand while doing something else. I must be activating the bouncy box somehow & next thing you know, “poof”, it’s just gone. I’m not even aware of it until who knows how long after. I have deleted quite a few from my Home Screen, some I don’t even know what they are. The worst one to delete is the settings app because I can not access it from my App Library at all. I had to ask Siri to open it for me. I recently deleted my clock, though & tried that. Siri couldn’t find it at all. This is very frustrating & I have never had this problem with any of my previous iPhones. You would think if you spend $1500 on a stupid phone that this wouldn’t happen.

The same thing happened to me when I accidentally removed Pinterest. I have already tried to download it back but I can only open it. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what to do to get it back. Thank you sincerely!
