Same happened to me with FB app.
- If I go to the App Store I don't have the option to download it.
- From the App Library the only option I have is to open the app. If I tap/hold the only option is to share it, I can't drag it or do anything else.

Got my teams app back after I removed it from Home Screen because it froze. I could not work out how to get it back as I could not down again from App Store so very helpful!

It didnt help me with my calendar app, I went to the left, searched, long clicked it and all that pop out is "Add Event"
Try going to Settings app. General. Iphone Storage. You can delete/offload app and redownload it! :)
Make sure your finger is swiping to the left. It should say App Library at the top

Scroll left until you get to the App Library. Press and hold until the app pops up, then select "Add to Home Screen"
swipe left means you should go right:) there you will find all app and can readd the icons to your homescreen.
