iPhone won’t send pics to Android

Ever since the last iOS update I’ve lost the ability to send pictures to Android users. MMS is enabled, I’ve tried resetting network settings, and with iMessage turned off and on with nothing working. Had anyone else experienced this recently?

Apple engineers gave me a reply back finally and told me they suggest that I back up my iCloud and then I go into my settings - general - reset - erase all content and settings.

it worked, but I’m ****** I had to do that because of all of the unfavorable hoops Apple put me though during this process.

at first the man denied it’s an apple problem, “99% of the time it’s the carrier”.

and then I had to reach back out to them after they said they would call me.. which I didn’t receive, and now I have to redownload all of my apps again and set up my phone like I just spent $1000 bucks on a new phone.

Same problem almost--also put this in a separate question:

My iPhone has overnight (with no sign of an update) begun to refuse to open Camera icon from within messages, when sending to Androids. I can take a picture and attach it to the same person, but the icon in Messages remains disfunctional and unresponsive.

I see similar problems with others since Nov. This began morning of 26 Dec 2020. According to my software updates, my phone does not YET have IOS 14.3, so I assume it is running 14.2.

I am having the same problem as other users in that I can’t send texts or photos to Android users. This started on December 23, 2020. I have tried every solution that Apple provides yet nothing will fix this issue. I was running on IOS 14.2 and thought 14.3 might fix the issue. I ran the software change and it has NOT fixed it. What caused this to happen and what are you going to do to fix it?

My wife and I have brand new iPhone 12s, and we are both experiencing this same problem that everyone else is experiencing: pictures will not send to Android devices, even though they do send to Apple devices. It seems disingenuous for Apple Support to respond to Customers by listing insultingly-obvious *check-your-wifi* or *enable-SMS-and-MMS* solutions when so many people are suffering this known problem, and the aforementioned settings are all already correct.

Both my wife and I are having this same problem, with two brand new iPhone 12s. Pictures *will* send to other Apple phones, but *not to Android phones*. Please do not recommend that I "check my wifi", or "enable SMS and MMS", because that makes it sound like this is not a known problem that tens of thousands of users are experiencing.

My wifi is allowing photos to go to other iPhones. My SMS and MMS are enabled. My brand new iPhone 12 keeps on keeps on not sending pics to Android phones.

What is going on Apple folks?
