iPhone won’t send pics to Android

I’m having the same issue, sat with Verizon support for hours and nothing. Tried every permutation and combination of what everybody else has posted. If this is an Apple issue why haven’t they responded. Both iPhones in out family has this issue. Please respond Apple.

I’ve had this issue since at least October 2020. I have auto updates enabled. I’ve tried all suggestions in this thread except the phone reset and none of it either fir me. I have a 6s on ATT. I’m surprised there hasn’t been any reply from Apple support in this. Really disappointing.

I'm having the same issue. Cannot send pics to any of my contacts with Android devices. Tried the items listed in this discussion as well as the linked support page. Is this an issue that there are any plans to fix or will this be rolled out as a new "feature". Frankly, Apple, you're losing your way and focus and it's sad to see.

Update: Pictures started going through to Android users late yesterday. However iOS 14.4 installed today and immediately broke it again, so good going Apple. Certianly wouldn't want people to talk and share unless they're part of your walled garden.

you won’t find any help here. Apple is too busy turning out cheap products and substandard software ‘upgrades’ to respond or help.

So how do I send from my Mac if I turn wifi off? {sarcasm} I was able to actually send a message today after my last update. I cannot post the version as the post will be removed. However it did work and this was to the same group that they were failing to.

I am having the same problems as others with not being able to send pictures to Anthroid phones in my messages. Never experienced this until I updated to Iphone 12. Apparently there is a problem in the phone because everything else has been checked and rechecked. OK Apple......you need to correct this......wished I had stayed with my old Iphone and not upgraded. So darn frustrated. HELP US OUT APPLE

I have never been able to send photos to android devices from any iPhone I’ve ever owned.

i Do feel this is a known problem. It really needs to be fixed it’s frustrating.

I continue to have this problem and iOS updates don't fix it. MMS is enabled.

I have no trouble texting photos to iPhone users, unless those iPhone users are included in a group text that includes at least one non-iPhone user. I've been scouring the Internet for an answer, and it seems there are posts about this dating back years now with no answer.

Interesting. Thank you for being willing to keep us updated! I worked with apple for over a month without a solid resolution. I was told to go back to my carrier and give apple engineers the carrier ticket number etc. I did that and it’s been crickets. I gave up and have found little work arounds since my issue of this isn’t consistent.

Thanks. I’ve had this problem intermittently for the past few months and it’s infuriating. One day, I can send photos to my Adroid using husband and the next day, they won’t send. Today was a day of not being able to send them. I wish Apple would figure this out- I really don’t love spending $1000 for a phone for it not to function as advertised.

Same here. It’s been happening for a few months now. I’ve tried all of the things on this thread and some help temporarily but today we are back to not being able to send photos to my husband. Apple really needs to figure this one out.

This is flat out ridiculous. The problem has been happening on and off for me. I used to get around it by rebooting the phone and switching the cellular network on and for but now nothing works. It’s like the issue is getting worse.

Maybe Apple will respond when everyone stops buying their sub par products. This will be my last Iphone. I have been dealing with this for months. If you can't beat em join em I guess - Android it is.
