After installing iOS 14.0.1 cellular data crashes randomly

hi. I have iPhone Xs, after upgrading to iOS 14.0.1 the cell signal goes away randomly. it started today and I have tried everything suggested by the many others having the same issue, see below. This is such a disappointment and I am getting really sick of Apples obvious absence in this regard. The only thing that has been working for me is by turning cellular data off for about three seconds and then turning flight mode on/off, and then cellular data back on again.

Airplane Mode

Hard reset

Soft reset

Network Settings Reset

Wifi calling on/off

VoLTE on/off

3G on/off

Checking “Modem Firmware”

Deleted my VPN app

Taking SIM card out/in

iPhone xs, ios 14.2.

Carrier Update (Required): Released by your Cellular Service provider (Carrier Update), affects your Outgoing / Incoming calls, SMS, Data etc..

How to Update Carrier Settings

You can manually check for and install a carrier settings update with these steps: Make sure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, you'll see an option to update your carrier settings.
