MacBook Air 2017 Logic Board Failure

Hi,

I've had two 2017 MacBook airs both of which failed within a year. The logic boards failed on both of them! For £800 laptops, I'd expect them to work for longer than a year. There is no damage done by me and I refuse to accept Apple telling me I must have done something to it. It spends most of its life on a desk or in a bag. Why have they failed all of a sudden and surely Apple need to look into this because it costs a **** of a lot of money to repair.
