Apple Card is a piece of CRAP

I meet all the requirements of getting the Apple Card except one. My driver's license was issued in 2017! I read elsewhere on the internet that Goldman Sachs has a glitch in their system where any license issued in 2017 is having a problem being scanned by their software. I don't know the reason, but I've applied multiple times to get the free financing for two Pro Max phones and have been turned down every time because they can't "verify my identity". Now I'm being automatically turned down each time I try. Quite frankly, for 3% cash back on the phones and accessories (which amounts to $76.20), it isn't worth it. I've given up and will be using a different credit card. Capital One is better anyway. Apple, you need to hound Goldman Sachs to FIX THIS.

Goldman Sachs is the issuer of the Apple Card so Apple doesn't have much say on issuing credit.

What you can do as an alternative to an interest cost credit card, try Citizen's One Loan - they are the official Apple creditor for both the IUP (iPhone Upgrade program) and 24 month 0% loan.

I have had both from Citizen's for years and they are very good before Apple Card came into play recently.

When you check out of Apple Store app, check the "pay over monthly installments" and then choose either IUP ( 24 month 0%) or IUP program under Citizen's One loan.

They will do a hard pull and approval would be immediate allowing you to check out with the iPhone.
