Magic keyboard cursor after iPadOS 14.2 updated
The magic keyboard cursor icon become bigger compare to previous version. Try to change in the setting but it was the minimum for it. Hopefully next update will change it back to normal.

Ok, found a temporary workaround until they fix it with a new update. Make sure to disable AssistiveTouch via Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch and the pointer should turn back to normal.
Thank you. That really fixed the problems, including keys 7,8, 9, not working. Thanks.
This is solving the ugly bigger cursor , however without assistive touch, the customized buttons on the mouse don’t work anymore..... NEEDING URGENT FIX UPDATE.
Thank you Visarhoax...
Your reply is helpful and it works well...
No wonder! I faced the same issues as you did — the scrolling of the Magic Mouse was so laggy. It went back to normal after turning off the much needed AssistiveTouch
Yes but this disables the functionality for the other mouse buttons
While this change makes the cursor smaller, the track pad is still unusable because of lag. This NEEDS an Apple fix ASAFP. I basically cannot use the track pad on the Magic Keyboard at all.
Thank you so much... This really helped as I’m not apple savvy.
Yeah me too but it didn’t do anything to the size yet, hopefully it gets fixed it’s a bit annoying lol 😂 I just got my iPad today too
That’s odd I just restored my settings
how do i change the curser
The new update fixed my cursor... I had to do nothing.
Thank you so much 👍 for this quick solution.
but after the 14.2 update trackpad response is not as before, I have to disconnect ipad from keyboard after every unresponsive freezing. Hope apple look in to this soon 👍👎
There are 2 options to set it back to before: 1. Turn off “AssistiveTouch”, which fixes the problem but also disables custom buttons and other nice functions. 2. Turn off “Perform Touch Gestures” and let AssistiveTouch on, you will still have custom buttons and the other functions from AssisstiveTouch. The only thing is that it makes opening Safari from dock and opening a new tab in safari a bit laggy/buggy.
You can also report the problem to https://apple.com/feedback. I hope they update soon.
Someone mentioned disable the “Perform Touch Gestures” under the Touch menu. Don’t need to disable the whole Touch capability.
Omg, thank you so much. It is very helpful
