Muted Messages

When a conversation is muted by one party, will the messages sent to the person who mutes show as delivered and when unmuted will they be there to receive? In other words, if I mute someone for a while will their messages still get to me to see?

Muted, Deleted Conversation, Delete Contact If I mute a conversation with someone on iMessage, delete the conversation, and then deleted the contact, will I still get messages from that now unknown number even though I muted and deleted their contact? Voice messages I was wondering if someone could help me understand voice messages a bit better. I sent a voice message to someone and after listening to it back (after I sent it) I noticed that the voice message disappeared. My question is does that mean that because I listened to the message after it sent that both parties have a deleted from their phones or does that mean that the recipient has also listened to it and that’s why it’s removed?

We'd love to assist you with your muted message concerns. When you turn on the hide alerts feature, the messages still come through, but the notifications are stopped for that conversation. More info can be found here: Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
