Transferring data to new iphone 12 pro. It looks like its complete but the old phone seems to be stuck on i more minute until its finish. If I try and exit the message asks to stop transfer.

I have the exact issue. Old iphone stuck with 1 minute to go for the transfer. Did not say transfer complete as it should. So I am concern that its not complete somehow. However the new iphone 12 pro seem to work ok. but of course I cannot begin to check everything to be sure its completely transferred.
What next? Is that a software glitch? Seems it has happened to 2 other person on this thread.
I am considering whether I should reset the new phone to factory original and restart the Quick Transfer process all over again?
I had this same issue transferring from a 7 to a 12, which did not resolve overnight. I don't like using the cloud, so I did not want to use iCloud. After reviewing some third party website answers, I simply powered off both the old and new phone, then checked to see if everything seemed to have transferred. As far as I could tell, it did. I have been using the new 12 for a couple of days with multiple applications and everything has been fine.
The process takes many hours to complete after the message says "1 [or 2] minutes to go." My transfer stated 2 mintutes to go for about three hours when I went to bed and left them overnight. The next morning all was well. The process completed normally.
I had something similar when I was transferring from my iPhone X to my 12 pro and while it said the transfer was completed on both phones my iPhone X reentered the transfer spontaneously starting at the very beginning and just displays transferring with no estimate time or loading bar. This was quite frustrating since it barred me from transferring my cellular service from one to the other.
Same thing with me, old iPhone stuck on 2 minutes. I have gone through the whole process twice now and still the same outcome. I’ll leave it a bit longer but getting frustrated now
So what did you do? Because I’m stuck with the same screen and can’t use both phones.
Exactly the same here. New phone looks and works fine, old phone still says transferring data, 1 minute to go. Been well over an hour so far and need to go out soon. 8+ too a 12
Quite a few people had similar issue. I finally called Apple support. With their advise, I reset the new phone to factory and use the icloud backup to populate the new phone.
It just took a long time but I appreciate all the responses.
Same, said 1 minute left, the phones stayed next to each other overnight and it is still not done.

Transferring from iPhone 10 to iPhone 12 Pro. It is stuck at “Time remaining: About 5 minutes” for like an hour. Very annoying.
