repeated notices to install Catalina 10.15.7 Supplemental Update
Keep getting notices to install this update by restarting the MacBook Pro. Restart, but the notice still comes up again. What should I do?

One issue may be, you need approx. 20GBs of free space on your drive for it to install. If that's the case, you could try installing it while in Safe Mode.

That’s the problem. I cannot install it. Have been trying since the first notice arrived. As soon as i restart, up pops tge notice I have an update to install -please restart. Cannot count how many times I have tried.
Thank you! It was a storage issue, so I addressed that first to free up space, and successfully downloaded the update. I had checked storage but mistook a large gray category for emptiness! Had much less than the 20GB necessary.
Why not install it. I contains some important security fixes. Installed without issue for me.
You're welcome. Glad it worked.
