transfer data to new Iphone 12 pro max

I used the new way to transfer data from iPhone X to my new phone by putting them closer to each other. It did not take long to transfer all my data to the new phone. I checked my new phone, everything are transferred. pictures, apps etc. There is no waiting app to be installed. But my old phone is still showing transferring data:"time remain 1 mins." It has been over an hour now. Is it normal? (I checked the new phone again, everything is indeed transferred. what do I do?

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand you were able to successfully transfer the data from an iPhone X to your new iPhone using the method of, "Quick Start." However; your previously used iPhone X is still showing, "Transferring Data." We'll be happy to help.

If you're able to see any type of progress in the data transfer, we suggest to allow the progress to complete. Now, if it seems unresponsive or frozen, you can attempt to restart your iPhone or perform a force restart. Here's two helpful articles with the proper steps:
