What exactly is the benefit of MagSafe charging ... considering...

  1. the cord is only 3' long, meaning the charger has to be right by an outlet and cannot be moved away without disconnecting
  2. takes 2 hands to remove it from charger

... basically because of the above... benefits of wireless charging are negated. Can

add in...

3. you don't get 20w fast charging with any charging brick other than Apple's specific

4. doesn't come with device... in fact... the brick doesn't come with the MagSafe charger either

I thought MagSafe would be cool but I am having trouble seeing what advantage it has over a simple cord to brick setup where I get the full 20w. With only 3' on the MagSafe... I would have to sit on a stool right next to the outlet to even use my phone while it was charging. Apple touted this feature without mentioning this little tidbit.

Am I missing something?
