Apparently I can turn off headphone notification on my iPhone X(update 14.2) but I can’t turn it off on my iPhone 12 max pro (14.2)???? Like why??? Can you please tell me how to turn it off?? No matter how much I lower the volume I still get the notification!!!

There should be a change to the way this feature operates in the very near future. It appears that this forum doesn't allow certain information to be posted here and my previous, more detailed post was subsequently deleted. Hopefully this defective feature will soon on longer be a problem for any of us.
I understand that but again it's annoying cause even wen I don't have it loud it still pop up and still that is us making the decision should ape be sued for it no because we r the one that chose to have it loud

Actually, they did stop serving coffee as hot as they had been. They had been serving it at an unsafe temperature for years. It has been speculated (maybe even proven) that they had done so to cut down on the number of free senior citizen refills.

Actually, they did serve it cooler in addition to the warning.
So the solution for Apple is a dialog that says “If you turn off this feature you agree that you will not sue Apple for hearing damage.” You’d need to capture a digital signature and forward it to Apple legal.
I will have to find another analogy!
The key point is not so much headphone volume (though it does impact users like that one earlier who is profoundly deaf) as the inability in BT settings to choose phones or external device. I hope this can be added at some point.

Same problem here in US. I believe it was part of the last IOS update. Apple is being our nanny. I'll see if Android is doing the same. Our whole family has iPhones and have for the past 17 years. I was looking at the Apple 12 Pro, but if Android does not force this, I'll be shopping the new Samsungs.

You should always get what best meets your needs. No one reading these posts cares what products you buy or don’t buy.
However, I’m willing to bet that you didn’t bother to read the thread you posted to; the issue is much more complex than your post implies.
