Yesterday I installed Big Sur on My MacBook Pro 2017. At work is an old HP Laserjet 1020 printer. I installed the printer driver package from the Apple website on Catalina to work. You won't be able to install it on this version. Not support.

I solved this problem and now my HP 1020 works perfectly with Big Sur 11.0.1 on a new MacBook Pro with the M1 chipset. I did the following:
The printer now operates perfectly as before!
Did you ever solve it? I have the exact same problem you are having. I'm in the states so that's not the problem.

When i try to select driver for 1022 i see 3 type. I tried all of this but it doesn't work

After the update of the printer drivers version is released, everything is installed and works!
