Snooze Calendar Notifications in Big Sur

How do you snooze calendar notifications more than the default 5 min?

In Catalina, you could long-press the Snooze button and get a choice as to how long the notification was snoozed. I tried it in Big Sur and I don't get the list.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

No, the manual just says that if the notification has the Options button, click Options then click Snooze. There is no option to long-press Snooze to get different snooze durations. They used to have long-pressing Snooze to get different durations in the Calendar documentation for Big Sur, but they changed the documentation shortly after 11.1 was released. They have removed references to long-pressing which tells you that it isn't a bug; they actually removed the ability to get different snooze durations. Do NOT expect to see it come back with the next release. If you want to see that ability to come back, file Feedback with Apple as they do not check this forum. This forum is strictly user-to-user support. Here is where you can file Feedback: https://www.apple.com/feedback/calendar.html

seriously it is unfathomable how intelligent people would make a change for the worse. Is this just people trying to justify their jobs by doing SOMETHING, even if it's vastly worse? I LIVE by my calendar alerts and have MANY and snooze all day long. I can't be snoozing every single one every 15 minutes.

Oh and the new alert layout sucks and is annoying. Just leave well enough alone, Apple!

For so many reasons I want to switch to Office for Mac. The biggest reason holding me back is actually a feature missing from Mail. In Outlook for Mac, you cannot have an automatic spell check before sending an email. It red lines potential misspellings but doesn't actually give you the prompts like Apple mail does or Outlook for PC. I am so used to that function, I think my emails would be scary without it.

IMHO, 1) they don't want to be bothered with the feature because it's free with the computer os, 2) Makes devs happy since you have to buy their apps 3) "Giving" devs something for the cut they take in the App Store. Frustrating. Not like Apple is struggling financially to justify this - just my feeling. They might be awash in cash, but I'm sure many of their customers aren't!

I do. And I've noticed. I'm not willing to part ways with my iPhone, but I'm 90% sure I'm not going to be buying any more iMac or MacBook Pros anymore. I'm tired of them doing stuff like this. I can edit using Premiere on a PC and I'll also have access to every game on Steam and MS Game Pass. I don't see any reason, any longer, to pay a premium price for something that doesn't do the most basic thing - snooze a calendar reminder (amongst other things).

Here we are, December 8, and the issue is still an issue. I'm only adding my voice because I'm hoping with enough attention this will finally get fixed. I can't imagine why anyone would think it was a good idea to remove the options for different snooze times. I'm sure it was just a bug. I like Apple, I mostly trust Apple. Please come through for us, Apple.
