Mainstage Perform Screen Problem

I made a concert on and older Mac Book Pro and Mainstage 3. I wanted to play it on an iMac and Mainstage version 3.5. So I loaded the concert on the iMac and it works fine in edit mode, all buttons work and its plays well, but nothing will click in Perform mode. Every button on the screen does nothing. Is this a version problem or something else I am doing wrong? Its a fresh install of Mainstage 3.5 on the iMac.

I have a similar problem. Today, when I opened MainStage, I got a notification that it had been auto-updated, and now none of the controls work with the mouse when in perform mode. The expression pedal that controls the volume and moves between patches still works. I can work around by performing in edit mode, but it's not ideal. I'm on an early 2015 MBP 13", running OS X 10.15.7.

Same problem with my Maistage and contserts in performance window.

Actually I want to specify that mouse orientation is off in Performance window. For example, when I click in the middle of window, my knob at right corner reacts. When I move cursor to left, I could hit other knobs or sliders also. It just that window reacts in different place than where I click.

This error is not only in custom made contserts, but also in Mainstage presets, like in Quick Start -> Keyboard performance window.

Precious Apple team, please correct this error!

I also suggest, that it would be possible to download previous app version in App Store. You have history link there. It shows previous app version numbers, but lets make at least one previous version available.

Thank You!

That’s what I tried to do. I was advised that Apple just pushes people off the ledge when they have updates that are larger then what older computers can handle. There’s no going back. Even if you were able to Apple will no longer support it. I think it’s because I have a pre-2014 pro Mac that all my concerts are now corrupted.. I have left the software over this issue. Musing some thing either. Updates are created that are too powerful for older computers. Apparently apple doesn’t care.

Yeah, my concert was toast on the new version. Fortunately, I had the old Mac Book Pro and we were able to perform this afternoon. This is really my first experience with Mainstage in a live setting. I'm kind of questioning my decision to use Mainstage now. I guess all the experienced Apple users say don't let Apple auto update anything. Now I know why. Think they know what beta test means? No way to back rev? What gives with that? Pretty shortsighted on their part for a critical application. I guess we will have to wait and see when they fix it.

I'm having this problem too, and while trying to troubleshoot (reinstalling, deleting preferences, etc...) I noticed that not only are my elaborate concerts (previously working flawlessly) not working in the way described above, THE quick start templates FROM APPLE aren't even working. What a joke...

This absolutely screwed me today at a big job (yes, Apple, you screwed me at my work) because I guess the update was installed without me realizing. I'd been using this rig unchanged at least for a year or more, so imagine my surprise to be the guy holding up the whole production. I need this resolved ASAP.

I have a similar problem. I just updated the last version 3.5, but so many can't function. Especially in the screen perform part. When i'm in perform screen touchpad i can't function to choose backing track list. And then bar signal that i make for mono audio also look strange the signal. It look like the signal not full when i playback the audio. When i'm using 3.4.4 all function are normal. Please help me 😭😭😭
