Brother Printer Drivers for Big Sur.

My Mac has been updated to OS Big Sur 11.5.

I have a Brother DCP-7065DN.

I am connected via USB between laptop & printer.

I now cannot print - receive error message "error while printing" - however scanning works fine, so clearly the printer and my Mac are talking to each other.

What do I need to do to fix this situation?

No idea what you are referring to, the Brother site does not refer to a push-scan app, and I can't find one on the app store. If I use the iPrint & Scan the message is very specific: the DCP-7030 is not supported.

Old Toad, this is not the first time you've saved my bacon over the years, and I am grateful for your help.

I have the Big Sur printer problem, but with a new iMac (OS 11.3). Can't use with my older Brother printer, and no driver appears available. Would there be anything dangerous to my computer with trying an OS 10 series driver as some here have suggested with their laptops? Has anyone else confronted this problem with a desktop? Thanks!

Updated to Big Sur version 11.6 and now the scan software from Brother will not work. Checked the Brother site and doesn't mention Big Sur anywhere. Please help. The model of the Brother printer is DCP J-1100DW.

hello. MFC-L3770cdw. Colour prints are awful. iPrint&Scan does not offer colour, contrast, light enhancements as drivers usually do.
