Battery worse on macOS Big Sur

My battery is draining faster on macOS Big Sur than on macOS Catalina.

Does anyone know why? - MacBook Air (2018)

Likely something running the background. When you do a major OS upgrade, spotlight will reindex your internal storage and that can take a few days.
