iPhone 12 Pro: Facetime / speakerphone microphone audio cuts in and out

when I am taro people they can’t hear me and I can hear them just fine

I turned in my iPhone 8 got the 12 and I’m having the same problem with people hearing me. I did all the fixes and it still isn’t working.

EDIT : I replaced my iPhone with a new one but the issue still persists.

Just want to add another affected user to this list. Any calling app, including Phone, while using speaker mode is getting the same annoying problem mentioned here.

This makes sense but when I turn off noise cancellation it still happens. Shouldn't that fix it?

They sent me a replacement for my iPhone 12 and I’m still having the same problem with the microphone. It just cuts out and I can hear them but they can’t hear me.

Unfortunately as of now, Apple has not ever acknowledged this, and it seems there are zero workarounds. It’s absolutely insane. I wonder if the 13 will continue to have this issue.

Thanks for posting this. I’m so curious to hear from anyone that uses this repair program, and if they actually experience a resolution to this. Super skeptical.

I was hopeful that iOS 15 would solve this issue but it has not. I wonder if the new iPhone 13 has this same issue? I wish apple would have addressed this before they came out with the 13.

I also want to know if the 13 has this issue as well
