iPhone 12 overheating and affecting sound

My phone suddenly started getting very hot, sound would cut out after a second or two, so couldn’t get calls. Keyboard clicks also turned off. I shut phone down and is back to normal after restart. Anyone else having sudden over heating problems?

iPhone 13 mini overheating Our iPhone 13 mini (purchased new at Apple Store in April) becomes too hot to hold after a 20 minute phone call. Current iOS, no other apps running, background app refresh off, and all other steps taken including hardware reset/wipe/re-install. Apple Store ran diagnostics and found no issues. As long as it doesn’t shut off/reset, they said that there is nothing to do except turn it off for 2 hours and restart. That’s not acceptable. We’re at our wits end. I could see if we were gaming, playing videos for extended time, but a simple phone call in a cool house should not cause this. Any ideas on how to get this defective phone replaced? Iphone 12 pro heating up I bought my Iphone 12 pro only 3 weeks ago. At first it didn’t have any problems but now it has started to heat up. It gets really warm or hot from the right corner. And when you reboot it, it turns on extremely hot.
