Has anyone had issues with the rear glass cracking mine broke very easily by placing the iPhone 12 pro and iPhone 12 pro Max back to back to check sizes.

If you feel that is the case, make an appointment to have your phone examined by Apple.
They are trained to be able to tell the difference between a stress crack or manufacturing defect and damage due to impact, and stress cracks or defects do occasionally occur as they do with any other product that uses glass.
I didn't take out apple car as i have my own insurance through my bank but thats not the point. Its about the principle. The iPhone 12 back is a design fault.

Could be, but you pay a fortune for the phone and another fortune for the AppleCare+... how come apple have such bad quality for such expensive phones ?
Accidental damage is not covered by the standard warranty.
That's not true, there is lots of ways it can crack, for example the metal frame around it can expand and shrink from temperature change putting pressure on glass.

One thing I learnt never buy an iPhone without full warranty so that additional warranty cost also needs to be added to the iPhone to get the total cost of the phone. Better never to buy again...
It's not a design flaw.
Glass breaks and it can't break from pushing a button on the side of the device.
its time for Tim and apple to put up. Or I’ll switch my MacBook to windows only and buy a zune phone. Lol
