Has anyone had issues with the rear glass cracking mine broke very easily by placing the iPhone 12 pro and iPhone 12 pro Max back to back to check sizes.

There is no action for Apple to take here. Glass is glass and glass can break. Samsung phones are glass back and they can and do break. Google phones are glass back and they can and do break. If you purchase AppleCare+ Apple will replace the phone for $29 if the glass cracks, not $99 as I believe one of your posts suggested. If there is other damage, with AppleCare+, the replacement cost will be $99.
Since you seem to be really miffed you own a phone which has glass and the glass can break, here's an idea for you. Put a screen protector on the back glass, like most people also put on the front glass. It could really help if your phone falls because screen protectors often absorb the impact and the protector may crack, protecting the back of your phone. Nobody who has posted in this thread works for Apple or are with a 3rd party company hired by Apple.

Iphone 12 pro max, new with apple clear case, maybe defect because it gets hot when charging on apple charger?

Still, 933 our of at least 100 million ip12's is a pretty small problem, (less than 1 in 100,000) unless of course you are the one who owns it.
How did you manage to only pay $104 for replacement? Is that with Apple care?

no, just better phone design. my last 3 phones were the xr,8, and 6s. dropped them all countless times, not one crack.
You only get two accidental damage claims in one year with AppleCare+ so the $300 figure is inexplicable.
