Has anyone had issues with the rear glass cracking mine broke very easily by placing the iPhone 12 pro and iPhone 12 pro Max back to back to check sizes.

If you feel that is the case, make an appointment to have your phone examined by Apple.
They are trained to be able to tell the difference between a stress crack or manufacturing defect and damage due to impact, and stress cracks or defects do occasionally occur as they do with any other product that uses glass.
Nobody who has posted in this thread works for Apple or are with a 3rd party company hired by Apple.

You have two witnesses? good news, if they are adults you can have them swear statements in front of a lawyer or commissioner for oaths and take it from there.
Iphone 12 pro max, new with apple clear case, maybe defect because it gets hot when charging on apple charger?

Still, 933 our of at least 100 million ip12's is a pretty small problem, (less than 1 in 100,000) unless of course you are the one who owns it.
How did you manage to only pay $104 for replacement? Is that with Apple care?
I was already halfway through my career when the first IBM PC came out. Before that IBM mainframes. I didn’t pick up Apple products til after retirement.
no, just better phone design. my last 3 phones were the xr,8, and 6s. dropped them all countless times, not one crack.
You only get two accidental damage claims in one year with AppleCare+ so the $300 figure is inexplicable.
