Has anyone had issues with the rear glass cracking mine broke very easily by placing the iPhone 12 pro and iPhone 12 pro Max back to back to check sizes.

There is no action for Apple to take here. Glass is glass and glass can break. Samsung phones are glass back and they can and do break. Google phones are glass back and they can and do break. If you purchase AppleCare+ Apple will replace the phone for $29 if the glass cracks, not $99 as I believe one of your posts suggested. If there is other damage, with AppleCare+, the replacement cost will be $99.
Since you seem to be really miffed you own a phone which has glass and the glass can break, here's an idea for you. Put a screen protector on the back glass, like most people also put on the front glass. It could really help if your phone falls because screen protectors often absorb the impact and the protector may crack, protecting the back of your phone. Same thing happened to me, been in the case, and did not drop it... have had other iPhones forever without a scratch too.
What’s your suggestion for chillibinpixy and that person’s Apple iPhone that is broken in the same place while being protected in an Apple case?
Mine broke in a week! So frustrated. I’m very disappointed that I spent so much money on it just for it to break in such a small time. It’s stupid.
Not true!!! Mine has a cover and screen protector. Both intact. I have not dropped it and the rear glass just cracked.

I just treated myself to iphone12 for forthcoming 70th and I bought AppleCare+ in case I drop it.
(Phone is flawless with full signal by the way.)
Unfortunately there is no apple store here in Pakistan (my country) nor any authorized provider where i could have gotten a replacement from. Thats why i had to purchase a new one
