Has anyone had issues with the rear glass cracking mine broke very easily by placing the iPhone 12 pro and iPhone 12 pro Max back to back to check sizes.

They are trained to be able to tell the difference between a stress crack or manufacturing defect and damage due to impact, and stress cracks or defects do occasionally occur as they do with any other product that uses glass.
You say that, but the claim was made for the screen, not for the balance of the phone.
The case of the Samsung Galaxy S21 is also prone to breakage, so going Android doesn't mean the end of your issues.

As is the case for millions of iPhone 12 owners who have not had their back glass break.
Mine too they lied like it was getting fixed and I ended up with a whole new IMEI number
Is there glass on the back side of the 12 pro max??? Not sure about y’all, but the back of my 12 pro max has a full, not shiny or slick back that I’m 99.99% sure is not glass. 🤨

The same happened to me, except it was when I got the phone :( I went to out a case on to keep it safe and the phone cracked while I pushed the case in place in the back
This just happens to my wife’s phone as well. Changing cases and it broke.
Why even make the rear glass except to farm repair dollars
Any glass will break if subject to the right forces.

Tens of millions of people have put their iPhones into just as many cases without breaking the phone.
If you like, the staff at your local Apple Store will be happy to try it for you.
The fact is that the iPhone 12 has glass on the rear part of the phone which cracks easily.
Will every phone made by Apple have this problem from now on?
