Same issue here. The weird part is that I’ve captured a couple videos before without issues. Today this started to happen. Even before recording it looks like the light is slowing changing in a loop. It flicks, then its bright and it starts to sort of dim the lights to a “warmer” light. Then it flicks again and it’s this loop. Any video, with any settings, will flicker. Extremely frustrating for a device at this price point.

Exactly what is happening to me as well. Was an iphone xr owner previously- best iphone Ive ever had. I just brought the 12 pro max home the other day and immediately noticed this glaring flaw in the first video I took. It was an outdoor overcast day. Problem: flickering areas, white balance changing constantly- warm, cold, warm, cold, warm. Just ugly and disappointing. Another problem Ive found right away was over-sharpening and high noise reduction applied to all photos with no way to disable even with pro raw mode. What in the world Apple? Anyone found a fix?

Same issue. Doesn’t matter if HDR is on or off, indoor or outdoor. Haven’t tested all lens/FPS combos but so far it’s been there every single time. Happens with selfie cam too. Really disappointing, considering the price of the iPhone 12 Pro in my pocket. Kinda want my iPhone X back now. Fix this in the next update please

Same problem on my 12 pro max, this happen when I recording video, U can test it in the daytime and u'll notice the sky flickering . if u turn into(0.5x) ultra-wide optic, it'can be more worse

my iPhone 12 pro max also flickers and strobes when taking video and slow motion videos and all settings

Ive been working with a technician and they are going to replace my phone next. By the sounds of it nothing will improve.

Check your replacement period, when I bought mine last week from apple they advised return full refund period extended until the end of January because of covid. Worth looking into.
