I have a brand new iPhone 12 mini with the IOS 14.2 update. It is freezing unlock screen & all apps.
I- messages not showing up, contacts names not showing up on text messages. Screen is freezing all for 30 seconds at a time.

This is the third time I’ve tried to type out this message because my new iPhone 12 mini keeps freezing and shutting down. It’s been happening for the past few hours, no matter what app I’m using. That is in addition to dropped calls after just two minutes of talking. Since I purchase it today, it’s already updated to 14.2.1

I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro Max on version 14.3 and my apps tend to freeze for about 10-15 seconds on any app. This has been happening since the last update I believe as far as I can remember. Force closing all the apps or even restarting the phone doesn’t help. If I open IG, Snapchat, YouTube, tiktok or even banking apps, the screen freezes as I am navigating within the app, and about 10-30 seconds later it unfreezes and puts all my swipes, scrolls or any touches of the screen during the freeze period in a fast forward motion.
Can’t seem to find a fix for this or the reason why it’s happening!
Anyone come across this/ similar issue? If so- any trouble shooting tips?

My iPhone mini still freezes every time I do anything with auto fill/ buttons/ inserting passwords, etc. The update didn’t fix anything with my phone at all. It’s keeps freezing and it’s become a hassle-since I can update anything unless I go home and do it and then write the password down and then retype it manually - can’t use auto fill without it freezing- or sometimes if I update the password it won’t let me save it until several attempts later- if at all.
My iPhone 12 mini is on iOS 14.4 and I am still facing screen freezes intermittently. I happens on all kinds of apps so I doubt any particular app is to blame here. When will the issue be resolved?
Also 12 mini doesn't work with many of the existing Qi wireless chargers, when will that be fixed?
Good news 14.2.1 update fixed problem.
Same issue her! Apps freeze at start up or even during the session. Sick of it .Come on Apple do your job here.
