Suddenly cannot get email on my iphone with iOS 14.2. I get the message that there is no password provided. I have rebooted the phone. I have gone to settings and re-entered my password for the incoming and outgoing mail servers. Am jstill getting the same message that there is no password provided.

For all of those with ATT accounts, I had to get a 'secure mail key from ATT and use it during the email account setup process where it asked for password. Overall, it was a very frustrating process and I was shocked when it finally started working. It really should not be this confusing. I did the following.

1. Got the secure mail key by logging into ATT account and going to profile and requesting the key.

2. Deleted existing yahoo/att email account from iPhone

3. Adding the new 'other' email account using the steps is the article, https://www.serversettings.email/att.net-email-server-settings-imap.php#iphone

*** use email key where it asks for password

Thank you to all that posted some information on the topic because there does not appear to be a 100% clear answer for all situations.

Same problem here with my Bluehost email, though icloud works fine. I tried to use Bluehosts' set up device procedure which downloads my profile there and allows verification. Then as soon as I enter email password and "next," I am told that no PW has been entered, go to Settings, etc. This is a new iPhone12, also recent new iCloud password, and most of the way through identity verification process after previous phone stolen (which is a separate frustrating issue, will add a comment for that). Not sure which of these may be causing problems but sounds like update or new phone.

After several iOS upgrades beginning with 14.0, I have the same issue. The potential solutions provided do not work. I've had Apple tech's stand with me while reviewing my email account inputs and saw nothing wrong. Plus, my email account provider had the same result. Out of frustration, I contacted Microsoft since I use Outlook. Same result. No help. ARRRRRRGH! Frustrating, irritating, and costly.

Bottom line, it must be an iOS programming error. But Apple doesn't seem to care.
