I have a Mac mini (2018) and use a eGPU (Razer + Radeon RX 580 8Gb). Since installing Big Sur - my mouse (Logitech MX Master 3 Mac) periodically locks up .... but only when I have the eGPU in line.
Anyone else have a similar issue and found ways around this ?

Have you been able to reinstall an updated version of Chrome to see if the issue returns?

It sounds like there is a delay with the mouse while your eGPU is connected.
Does this continue if you change the ports that are being used? We also suggest checking to see if your mouse has any driver or firmware updates available.
Another test would be to boot into safe mode and then test to see if the issue continues there as well.

Almost certain this is linked to using Chrome - uninstalled and mouse freezing has disappeared. Mouse has latest firmware and it's BT (Logitech MX 3 for Mac). Issue does disappear in safe mode too
