Hearing Aid MFI Issue iPhone 12 Pro Max

Is anyone still having issues with static? I’m a bit worried as I just purchased the 12 Pro Max, but have just seen these comments. I haven’t opened it yet and unsure if I should perhaps return until the issue is fixed?

I tried the fix on a 12 a week ago. I still hear static. Does anyone else?

Not as bad but I can still hear it.

I returned my 12 Max. My wife has a 12. When I use her phone I still hear static when I listen to music or take a call. I will get a 12 Max when the issue is fixed. I have Resound hearing aids,
