iPhone disconnects from Wifi during Facetime

Since updating to iOS 14.2 I've had issues with Facetime connection quality. Much of the time the sound will glitch out during Facetime Audio calls (happens during almost every call.) Similarly video will freeze during Facetime video calls.

While monitoring my device I notice that the phone appears to lose connection to my wifi (it cycles between disconnecting and connecting) during Facetime calls (both video or audio calls.) I know this is not due to my internet connection as my other devices stay connected (I have tested.)

I've tried resetting my device and disconnecting and reconnecting to wifi prior to the Facetime calls as well as using both 2.4 and 5 ghz wifi connections.

I've never had this issue before...has been one issue of many during since my update to 14.2 sadly...
