logitech spotlight pointer modes

After updating to MacOS Big Sur, I can still use my logitech spotlight but I lost the different pointer modes and left with just the plain arrow. Is there a solution to this issue?

try this below from their response...

Good day and thank you for the update, this is Lani again and sorry for the delay on the response. We have several inquiry also about loosing the added feature on the pointer like the magnifying from the Spotlight presenter after the update to Big Sur.

Our product and software development team was able to identify this and had the update for the software the links are below including the firmware update..

Presentation software: https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/presentation/LogiPresentation_1.62.2.dmg

You can also update the firmware of the presenter: https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/keyboards/FirmwareUpdateToolInstaller.zip

We have positive feedback from other Spotlight user after uninstalling and installing the latest version for the software. It is recommended that you uninstall the current version you have and then download and install the latest version of the software into your Mac system.

Starting with macOS 11 (Big Sur), Apple has a new policy that requires significant changes to how our software works.

Because of this, we have identified that the Logitech Presentation Software and Logitech Presentation Software Lite version is not yet compatible with macOS 11 (Big Sur).

We're working on getting the Logitech Presentation Software and Logitech Presentation Software Lite version supported in macOS 11 (Big Sur).

Logitech previously announced that Logitech Control Center (LCC) would not be compatible with macOS 11 (Big Sur)... With the new Apple release of their Apple Silicon-based computers, LCC will not be compatible with these new systems.

Thanks very much for the answer and the solution.

Everything works perfectly for me with the new presentation software.

I wish Logitech included this version as the default download for Apple users and we would save all the time I have had to invest to find the solution.
