MBA 2020: WiFi (eduroam) disconnects every 30 minutes
My WiFi connection drops almost exactly every 30 minutes.
- MacBook Air 2020
- Catalina 10.15.7
- connected to eduroam via EAP-PEAP (MSCHAPv2)
- no external hardware is connected to the MacBook
- the problem occurs both on idle (over night) and when actively browsing the internet
Here's what is written to the wifi.log (detailed logging is enabled):

Here's what I tried so far:
- rebooting
- upgrading macOS to 10.15.7 (the MacBook was on 10.15.3 when the problem started)
- resetting PRAM/NVRAM
- removing/adding WiFi in System Preferences > Network
- removing/adding the eduroam profile in System Preferences > Profiles
I assume there is no problem with the network itself, as other computers do not disconnect. Also, rebooting the router would require to contact the local admin, but I want to rule out that the problem is caused on my side first.
Any ideas to this particular problem are appreciated. Thanks!
