after updating to big sur secd uses lots of cpu and makes the vents go insane

I recently updated my 2019 macbook air to MacOS Big Sur. After the update the vent constantly sounds like an airplane. in the activity log I can see that the secd process is running up to 100% of my cpu. does anyone know how to solve this problem?
