HomePod Mini Internet Connectivity Issues

I am having issues with HomePod mini not connecting to the internet. My other HomePods have no issue when I ask a question etc. But when I ask one or both of the HomePod mini's it says " I am having trouble connecting to the internet.

I followed the trouble shooting steps apple provides but it goes back to "I am having trouble connecting to the internet." after a couple of hours. Then it is normal again.

If anyone has a solution or has also experienced this issue?

Same router and same issue with my minis. I’ve only had my blue cave for about 1 year and it works flawlessly for everything else

Yuppp having same issue. I had my Alexa in exact same position and works fine. But, I'm waiting atleast 2-3 for Siri to tell me the time.

It has made its away to many different Apple news sites. So hopefully Apple makes a statement on it or releases an update sooner rather than later.

Has anyone else noticed the issue only after updating to ios14.2.1 on the iPhone? I swear mine was working perfectly prior to this. I feel like it’s a Home issue

maybe, I had this issue on day 1 of homepd mini release. 11/16/2020 I don't think 14.2.1 was out yet.

Spoke too soon. Went to ask Siri for my update this morning and got the same old “on it.... one moment... I’m having trouble connecting to the internet....”

I changed the frequency from 5 to 2.4 ghz and it seems to fix the problem.

I had temporary success doing that as well. But after about a day it started again. I use an Asus Blue Cave but have ordered a new eero setup to see if using a different router fixes it.
