iPhone 6 to iPhone 12

I am editing for my 12 pro max and had an older iPhone 6 spare. I sold my other phone and so I’m using this iPhone 6.

Am I likely to have difficulty upgrading or restoring my iOS 12 backup to iOS 14?

17.2 Backup is not compatible with new iPhone 14 Hi, I just received a new iPhone 14 and I am trying to use a back up to restore my new phone. When I try to transfer the data it will not let me because the iPhone 11 is operating on 17.2 and the new iPhone 14 is operating on 16.8. How can move my back up to the new phone?

transfer iphone backup, older phone has newer ios hi! so i’m switching from my iphone 7 to an iphone x and when i try to do my most recent backup it won’t let me because the iphone x doesn’t have ios 14.4.2 like my iphone 7 does, is there a way to fix this?

No, you shouldn't have any difficulty. Be it iTunes or iCloud backup.
