Radio not working in iTunes

I know there are "Fixes" for this, except they don't work for me... On my Mac Radio stations now lead only to a popup asking me to subscribe to Apple Music. I don't want Apple Music until the bundle comes out. Until then I want to listen as I have for the last five years, through iTunes.

I have tried the Accounts > authorise > authorise this computer "fix" but it didn't fix it for me.

This is obviously a bug, because if I do it on my phone or my iPad it works, without any annoying marketing popups

Any suggestions anyone?

(and please, "report/ feedback to apple" is not a solution, and I have, and it didn't)

(and why, under Topics to post on this forum, is there a listing for iTunes AND for Music? are they the same thing now or not?)

Hello Paul Richards4,

We understand you are no longer able to listen to radio on the Music app on your Mac without being prompted for a subscription. You’re in the right place, we’d be glad to assist in seeking a solution.

If you still experience this after trying the steps here, Play Apple Music radio in Music on Mac, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support for further assistance: Get Support

You can also check if Apple One is available in your region here: Availability of Apple Media Services

Take care.
